Tanah Lot is a rock formation off the Indonesian island of Bali. It is the home of a pilgrimage temple, Pura Tanah Lot (literally "Tanah Lot Temple") and a popular tourist and cultural symbol for photography and general exoticism.
Tanah Lot Temple is located in the coastal side Beraban landscape, Kediri sub district and Tabanan Regency. It is 30 km west of the city in Denpasar and about 11 km south of Tabanan town. The temple is on the rocks with 3 acres and built within a few minutes on foot, because it is only 20 meters from the coast lip.
This temple is very famous among tourist destinations in Bali with spectacular views of the sunset.
